Long, long time ago, the world was ruled by gold. Those who possessed more gold had more power. And my father, Exenox, was one of the most powerful men in this world. He ruled over a vast empire that dominated the eastern side of the world.

But one day, a ship appeared from the west, bringing the enemy with it. Along came a deadly disease that challenged the strength and will of my father and his kingdom. A brutal war broke out, and for 13 years, the battles raged between East and West. Eventually, Exenox met his end—at the hands of the King of the West. The throne and the power now belonged to the West.

Yet, as darkness and loss enveloped the East, a miracle occurred. After the death of Exenox, his wife gave birth to a son. That child was me—Urion.

A monk took me to a monastery high up in the mountains, far from the endless battles. There, I spent 26 years learning the art of Shaolin Kung Fu, especially the styles of the Tiger and the Dragon. These ancient techniques, in which the strength of the East and the wisdom of the West were combined, shaped me into a warrior. Bringing the power of Yin and Yang into harmony, to correct and to improve—that was my destiny.
