Google Photos intends to add a disclosure when a photo is edited with AI features like Magic Editor or Magic Eraser. This will appear in the Details section, showing when a photo is Edited with Google AI.
The update aims to improve transparency, though AI edited photos won’t have visible watermarks directly on them, so people viewing them elsewhere {like on social media} might not realize they have been edited.
